Why We Built Channelyx

Channelyx was born out of real frustration. After working with multiple channel management platforms in the hospitality industry, we noticed the same problems everywhere — clunky interfaces, unreliable inventory syncing, and painfully slow onboarding processes that left hoteliers waiting for days before they could go live.

As a software developer with deep experience in the hospitality sector, I've had the opportunity to work closely with various channel management platforms. Through that journey, I observed first-hand the challenges hoteliers face on a daily basis — from poorly designed user interfaces that make simple tasks complicated, to inventory sync failures that cause overbookings and revenue loss.

What frustrated me the most was the onboarding experience. Hotels would sign up for a channel manager and then wait days — sometimes weeks — before they could actually start using it. The setup required multiple support calls, manual configurations, and endless back-and-forth with support teams.
